The British School of Chicago was the fourth of the British Schools of America to open, opening its doors in September 2001. The unique and international style of the school has proven popular and attractive to a wide variety of American, British and international families in the Chicago metro area. Today, BSC's enrolment comprises of approximately 615 students, with the majority being American. Over thirty nationalities are represented.

The British School of Chicago is located in the popular Lincoln Park area, with easy access from I-90/94 and the CTA Red Line.

The British School of Chicago aims to provide a broadly based and tailored British style education for students from Nursery to Year 13 (Pre-school to Grade 12).
