I was born in Derry in the North of Ireland. I graduated with an honors MSc in Communications, Advertising and PR from the University of Ulster, and a BA in Media and Cultural Studies from Liverpool John Moores University.
Prior to working in admissions at the British School, I lived and worked in a variety of cities after my degree, before returning to Belfast to start my Masters. I have worked for the Guildhall Press Book Publishers, Virgin Trainline in Edinburgh, Dunadry Hotel and Country Club and Halifax Bank of Scotland (HBOS).
I was very fortunate to receive a green card on the lottery programme and was delighted to be able to come and live and work in Chicago. I already had family living here, my sister, brother-in-law and two nieces, which made the move from Ireland much easier!
I have worked at the British School now for over two years and am delighted and proud of it's growth over this time. I look forward to seeing the school grow further in many ways next year, and welcoming lots of new families to the British School community.
