I attended the University of Wales Swansea where I received my BA (Hons) in geography. I then travelled around the world for half a year, spending two months in the United States, before going on to the University of London to gain my PGCE in primary education. I am always eager to develop my knowledge of teaching and so I returned to the university in order to complete a Masters degree in primary education.

I previously taught at a school in Harrow where, over four years, I had various responsibilities including coordinator of music and geography. I am looking forward to continuing my career at the British School of Chicago where I will be teaching the Creative Cougars in Year 5.

I have an interest in all sports and I captained my university in soccer. Music is also a passion of mine and I play the trumpet. I have lots of energy and enthusiasm and I believe in providing as many opportunities as possible for children to improve their learning experiences. Moving to Chicago has been a fantastic experience and I am now looking forward to meeting all the children and settling into what I am sure will be a great first year at BSC.
