I was born in a small town in Devon in the south-west of England. Through my dual British / French Canadian heritage I developed a love of languages, which continued through to higher education when I graduated with a Joint Honors degree in French and Italian from the University of Leeds. I then went on to achieve my Post Graduate Certificate of Education at the University of Nottingham.
My teaching experience has seen me travel to Honduras where I taught in a bi-lingual, Spanish / English school and to Italy and France. In the UK I have taught pupils in the south and north of England in a variety of age groups. I am entering my fifth year at the British School of Chicago and am looking forward to teaching French in the Primary School.
