I was born and raised in the small town of Berlin, Pennsylvania and attended Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary English Education. Throughout my college career, I was heavily involved in music and was able to travel to Trinidad, France and Brazil with the Juniata College Concert Choir to perform. In addition to singing with the choir, I also served as a tutor for the Juniata College Writing Center and as a Lab Assistant for College Writing Seminar.

After graduation in May 2010, I moved to the Chicagoland area to pursue a career in teaching. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, singing, reading, working out at the gym and spending time with family and friends. I am thankful for the opportunity to work at BSC and am excited to get to know both the students and their parents!
