I grew up in the northern suburbs, Buffalo Grove, and moved to the city upon graduating high school to attend college. I majored in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics. During the training course to become a certified teacher, I built experiences working with a wide range of grade levels and abilities of students in both suburban and Chicago Public Schools. I strongly believe in guiding students to acquire pivotal and meaningful skills and concepts by incorporating innovative, hands-on activities.

Outside of school, I enjoy playing the piano, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and close friends. I also have high interests in arts and crafts which I try to incorporate in classrooms by creating interactive bulletin boards and activities.

I am extremely ecstatic to start my teaching career from here at BSC, collaboratively working with Ms. May and effectively assisting students to become lifelong learners. I look forward to a great year and meeting all students and parents!
