I grew up in Lincolnshire, in the East of England and studied for my degree at Warwick University before taking a year out to gain teaching experience. I then moved to London where I studied for my primary PGCE at St. Mary's college and I remained in London for the following 4 years, working in a large, successful primary school in West London.
As well as having experience as a classroom teacher in Years 4 and 5, I have also held the responsibility of Science Subject Leader across Key Stage 1 and 2, and Year Team Leader. I have also coached Year 5 and 6 Netball and organised many tournaments.
I have really enjoyed my two years here at the BSC, teaching children in both Year 3 and 4 and leading the Year 3 team and Key Stage 2 assessment. Chicago is a fantastic city and I have enjoyed experiencing all it has to offer. I am excited to work once again alongside a group of dedicated and enthusiastic teachers and am really looking forward to meeting and teaching my new class - the Outstanding Orangutans!
