I attended the University of Reading where I received my BA (Hons) before going on to Brunel University to gain my PGCE.
I have been teaching for two years at my present school which is in Buckinghamshire and I am the history coordinator. I enjoy taking the children swimming and I have accompanied them on overnight residential trips. Whilst in University I worked in Buckingham Palace State apartments where I was involved with children. I have been involved with many different clubs in my present school including girl’s soccer, art and a key stage 1 choir.
I am enthusiastic and one of my goals is to inspire the children that I come into contact with. I ensure that children have the opportunity to be creative and interactive to assist them in achieving an understanding of their learning. I am very excited to be coming to Chicago and working in such a learning focused school with such motivated children.
