Mary Carr

Year 1 Teacher

I attended the University of Northampton where I received my BA (Hons) before going on to the University of Warwick to gain my PGCE specializing in primary education. I have a love for languages and have a basic knowledge of Spanish and German. I taught for two years in a kindergarten class in Greensboro, North Carolina where I was chair of the multi cultural committee.

I have been teaching for seven years and I am at present teaching a Year 1 class in Coventry where I am literacy coordinator.

I am excited to be joining the team at the British School in Chicago and to be returning to the USA to carry on my passion for exciting children with their learning.
