Rebecca Troman

Teacher - Reception

Email Miss R. Troman

I grew up in a rural village in Somerset in the South West of England, before attending university in Bristol. I graduated with an honours degree in teaching, specialising in Early Years around five years ago.

I am now starting my third year at the British School in Reception and feel that I can continue to inspire and create a fun filled classroom for the children. I enjoy seeing the children develop and progress into independent and creative thinkers that are motivated and enthusiastic.

I advocate a creative and flexible curriculum and believe that every child is unique and that their education should promote and reflect a holistic approach, celebrating and nurturing diversity.

I have a number of skills and interests I enjoy doing and also reflect my personality. I enjoy art and textiles and have created many things in different media. I am very excited to be Art co-ordinator for Foundation Stage this year and will be trying to create many artistic opportunities inside and outside the school for the children. I am an avid reader and also enjoy creative writing. I enjoy travelling and am aiming to try to visit all the states of America whilst I am here!

I look forward to a fun-filled this year with the Tremendous Turtles!
