I grew up in Evergreen Park, a suburb just outside of Chicago. I attended Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Reading. During my junior year, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Dublin, Ireland and travel throughout Europe.

I completed my student teaching in a kindergarten classroom at a private school in Iowa. After graduating, I have had many different opportunities to work with children. Some of these include substitute teaching, tutoring students at a literacy camp, and teaching preschool and kindergarten in a Montessori school.

This is my second year at the British School. I was in a Reception class last year, and now I am assisting Nursery in the Fabulous Frogs class. I enjoy working with children and have always loved learning. I hope to pass on my love of learning to my students by creating a caring, positive, and fun environment for their first school experience. I am looking forward to getting to know my students and their families and welcoming them to the British School.
