Age Requirements

At the British School of Chicago, students are placed in Year Groups based on age. Please refer to the following chart for details on admissions for the 2011-2012 school year.

Children who are not three years of age by September 1st are not eligible for the Nursery program. Children must be four years of age by August 31st to enter the Reception class. All children need to be toilet trained prior to starting school.
