Early Years Program

Nursery Program

For entry into the September 2012 Nursery (Pre-school) program, children must be three years of age before September 1, 2012 and be fully toilet trained. Parents may apply for the following:

1. Full day program (currently 8:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. five days a week)
2. Morning-only program (currently 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. five days a week)*

 *Morning only Nursery students can extend their day with a variety of enrichment classes chosen either by day or for the week. The finish times for enrichment classes are either 1:30p.m. or 3:15p.m.

Reception Program

The Reception (Junior Kindergarten) program meets five days a week (currently 8:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.) for 4 - 5 year old children.    

Applying for Nursery & Reception

The application process begins by submitting an application and fee beginning September 1st, 2011. Deadline for application is December 16th, 2011.  

• Application Form (.pdf may be returned by email, fax, or mail)
• Recent Photograph
• Application Fee ($150) Pay online now (non-refundable)

Once the admissions department has received the above, you will be contacted to arrange the following:  

1. A group tour (if not already attended) between October - January
2. A parent meeting with a member of the admissions or leadership team to discuss your child between December - January
3. A play date evaluation in late January/early February

The following additional forms will also need to be returned to the school before a parent meeting can be scheduled in December/January:  

• Teacher Evaluation Form (.pdf)
• Most recent school report / report card (if applicable) to be sent with Evaluation Form(s) directly from current school

Please wait until November or December before submitting your teacher evaluation forms to your current school, and where applicable submit a copy of the first semester report card once you receive it in December 2011.  

Play Dates - Getting to Know your Child

We invite all Nursery and Reception applicants to come join us in a 'play date' with other children. The play dates are a readiness evaluation that will observe applicants interaction with other children and teachers, as well as participating in activities which will assist in identifying their readiness to start school.  

Nursery and Reception applicants will be invited to a play date on January, 21st.  

The typical point of entry is at our Nursery level. Availability in other year groups will be based upon vacant spaces and current students re-enrolling for the following year. Decision letters for Nursery will be mailed in February, and Reception decision letters in March.
