The eleven faculty members of BMSC have a vast experience of both performing and teaching children of all ages. This dedicated team of tutors are here to provide an enjoyable learning experience for students whilst at the same time, helping them gain the necessary knowledge and skills needed to progress in their instrument of choice. There is the opportunity to sit the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music graded music examinations in Grades One through Eight, along with a Prep Test for young students or beginners. Lessons are taught on an individual basis with opportunities for musicians to join group classes (On Broadway and Jazz Band) once they have gained a level of proficiency.

Music Theory is also offered at BMSC, which follows the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music theory course for each grade level. There is the opportunity to sit the ABRSM theory examinations in Grades One through Eight, and students progressing beyond Grade Five in performance will need to complete Grade Five music theory, as this is an ABRSM requirement. Lessons are taught on either an individual or group basis, depending on the grade level.

If you are interested in joining BMSC for either an individual or group class please complete an enquiry form so a contract can be sent out to you. Parents will be invoiced in August, December and March. Should your child be unable to attend their lesson on a Saturday, please e-mail Myrna Cerero at m.cerero@wclschools.org or phone 773-506-2097.
